Titanic Memorial Cruise Starts Journey

A cruise liner with relatives of those who died on Titanic has started its voyage retracing the route of legendary vessel, RT reported.

The Titanic Memorial Cruise, with 1,309 people on board, the same number of passengers as the Titanic had, has started its way from Southampton and will take its course to New York City, the destination the Titanic failed to reach.

The Balmoral will also sail by the location where the White Star-owned liner sank nearly 100 years ago as the voyage commemorates the centenary of the sinking of the Titanic.

There are relatives from more than 20 different countries on board the Balmoral.

The tickets varied in cost from $4,445 to $9,520.
